Job Qualification Requirements:
A high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position preferred; Prior aviation, ramp, warehouse or cargo experience helpful but not required.
Willingness and ability to learn all areas of ramp and flight operations; Ability to learn and follow FAA, ICAO, IATA, TSA, local airport, and airline regulations as they relate to ramp operations and security; Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly and ask questions when unsure.
Knowledge of aircraft ramp operations, baggage and cargo handling, and airport safety and security procedures; Ability to safely load, unload, and transport baggage, cargo, mail, and special handling items while following airline and regulatory requirements; Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment; Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including lifting and moving heavy baggage and cargo; Dependable and safety-conscious; Willing to adapt to changes necessary for the effective functioning of the organization’s objectives (new procedures, schedule changes, etc.).

Supports safe, efficient, and on-time flight operations by performing aircraft ramp services, baggage and cargo handling, aircraft marshaling, and ground support activities in accordance with airline, airport, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Marshal aircraft and assist with aircraft parking, pushback, and ground movements following established safety procedures.
Load, unload, and transport baggage, cargo, mail, and special items, including live animals and dangerous goods, in compliance with airline and regulatory requirements.
Service aircraft and ensure baggage and cargo are accurately loaded and offloaded for each flight.
Deliver baggage to the claim area and operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect and report equipment malfunctions, maintain compliance with airport security and safety procedures, and perform other related duties as assigned.
